Tollgate Hill — Establishment and lodging at 571 Torrington Road, Litchfield, Connecticut.

This was probably my favorite place that I stayed at while in Connecticut. This is a small, privately owned family hotel and while dated, it's quaint and cozy. I was able to get the same room several weeks in a row, which has a fireplace that was restocked with wood each day. Being used to corporate chain hotels which are largely impersonal, such a small thing like having a fireplace for cold nights made a world of difference after a long day.
